I have a few ideas for some 'Gothic' fanart currently, but zero idea how to ensure they stay where they are, instead of getting passed around unlinked or edited :/
Option 1: tumblr, or just about any blogging site with a custom code that doesn't allow ye olde right mouse click.
Option 2: Pillowfort, where you have to pay to join and you can control who sees your stuff; really easy to figure out who leaked the thing.
Option 3 (which I do not think is the best, but if things continue the way they do...): Patreon ''if you want it so badly you might as well pay for it''. Yeah, you can see why it's not my go-to choice, because nobody will likely see them
I know that shit like that is a thing in other fandoms, too, but in 'Gothic', it seems to be rampant, most likely because there's less fanart to go around = less stuff to wade through = everything is up for grabs. It's truly... disheartening to see that the things I worked hard on are out there, being edited and passed off as somebody's OC or sona or whatever they are called in roleplay.
EDIT:
Option 4, actually: I only draw mlm smut (slash; it's slash) from now on, when it comes to 'Gothic'; let's see how they repost
that without falling from graces with their peers
(I myself do not actually care; if peer pressure didn't work on me when I was a teensy lil' teeny, it sure af won't work now)
